INSPIRE Award Registration 2020-21: Under the Inspire Award scheme, school students are rewarded for creating a science project. Out of which the cost of making the science project and the cost of going to the science exhibition are given. Under this scheme, the names of one student studying in Std. 6 to 10 from all primary and secondary schools are selected. Therefore, each school has to complete its registration and nomination of students by the last date. Thus, through this award, many students will be able to advance with interest in the field of science.

Inspire’s full name is Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research. The scheme is issued by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. The main objective of this scheme is to awaken the scientific powers in children. So, if you have such children in your school, you can increase their enthusiasm. Under this scheme, schools can nominate the 5 best original ideas/innovations of students through this website till 15th October 2020.

For New registration

  • First of all, open the official website – inspireawards-dst.gov.in
  • Click on ‘School Authority’
  • Click on ‘For New Registration – Click Here’
  • Enter 11 Digit School U-DISE Code / School Code and hit the submit button
  • After entering the U-DISE code, school information will appear
  • If the information provided is correct, click on the ‘update code’
  • Then fill in the information and move on
  • Save the application number
  • If all the information is OK, forward it for approval
  • On the bottom of the page, Click Tab for Acknowledgement Generation.
  • You will receive a user ID and password link via email.

Students Nomination

  • First of all, open the official website – inspireawards-dst.gov.in
  • Click on ‘School Authority’
  • Click on ‘To Login- Click Here’
  • Enter User Name, Password and hit the login button
  • Then Click on ‘Students Nomination’
  • Read Important Instruction and enter the student’s number and press the save & next button
  • Then Read General Instruction and Tick the box and press continue
  • Click on ‘Add Students’
  • Now fill in the child’s information
  • Fill in the child’s bank details
  • Then Upload Student Photo, Project Synopsis, Idea/Innovation Photo, and Idea/Innovation Video/Audio
  • Now click on the ‘Save’ Button
  • This way you can add the names of other students
  • After completion, Enter the details of the authorized person
  • Now forward the application
  • Generate Acknowledgement and save for further use.

Q1. What is INSPIRE AWARD?

INSPIRE AWARD is one of the flagship programs conceptualised and developed by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.

Q2. What is the basic objective of INSPIRE Awards-MANAK?

To encourage students studying in classes 6 to 10.

To encourage new ideas and innovations in science.

Q3. Who can participate?

Individual students (not groups) of class 6 to 10 from all school from any National or State Education Board.

Q4. How much award money is given?

The selected student is given a prize money of ten thousand rupees. Which is directly deposited in his bank.
